Supplier Quality Engineer - Cables & PCB (m/f/d)

Aufgaben:
- Supply Chain Quality Engineers are responsible for the technical elements of supply chain management throughout all product life cycle phases.
- This position is focusing on Cable Assemblies and Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs)
- By assuring the availability of high quality parts/assemblies along with the required supplier and supply chain capabilities the dynamic business needs are supported. Major tasks are:
- Supplier selection, auditing and qualification, quality assurance processes, test strategy/plan, performance control points, etc.
- Assures performance according to specifications; assures quality and reliability throughout the materials supply chain (from component to product level)
- Works as cross functional interface between external Suppliers & Contract Manufacturers and internal departments
- Change control, Design for Manufacturing analysis, part number setup etc.
- Support for technical contracting elements
Qualifikationen:
- Bachelor/Master Degree or University Degree or equivalent with the subjects of Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Physics, Material Science or equivalent job experience
- Know-how of manufacturing and related test processes for Cable assemblies and PCBs
- Knowledge of common failure mechanisms related to Cables, Connectors and PCBs
- Very good analytical skills in solving technical issues
- Team work/cross functional work capability
- Language skills: fluent in English (writing & speaking); German min. B2
- Strong self-management and coordination skills
- Good communicator, presenting skills
